Playa la Herradura is a beautiful and tranquil beach bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located between the provinces of Las Tunas and Holguín, within the small village of Herradura, on the eastern coast of the island of Cuba. In this gorgeous horseshoe-shaped beach, the sand is white and fine, and the sea is calm and shines with a vibrant turquoise color, creating a scene that will make you feel like you're in paradise. Nature also surrounds this beach, as there is lush vegetation and large mangroves in its surroundings, and beneath the surface, its waters teem with marine life. In its peaceful waters, you'll find the perfect environment for sports activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, or diving. Don't miss this intimate and perfect place for relaxation and come enjoy this tropical dream come true. Since it is an untouched beach, it does not have hotel infrastructure, but you will have the opportunity to stay in the homes of the local residents, who often offer to rent their properties or rooms in their houses; a typical Cuban experience. In the surrounding area, there are some typical restaurants, a seafood restaurant, and a café, where you can taste delicious Cuban cuisine. We are located 50 km away from Holguín's "Frank Pais" airport. We offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The café serves ice cream, sweet coffee, international dishes, spaghetti, pastries, and bread.
Playa la Herradura es una hermosa y tranquila playa bañada por el océano Atlántico, situada entre las provincias de Las Tunas y Holguín, dentro del pequeño pueblo de Herradura, en la costa más oriental de la isla de Cuba. En esta bellísima playa con forma de herradura, la arena es blanca y fina y el mar es tranquilo y brilla con un vivo color turquesa, conformando una estampa que te hará sentir en el paraíso. La naturaleza invade además esta playa, pues en sus alrededores existe una vegetación exuberante y grandes manglares y, por debajo de la superficie, sus aguas bullen de vida submarina. En sus tranquilas aguas encontrarás el entorno perfecto para realizar actividades deportivas como kayak, snorkel o buceo. No te pierdas este lugar íntimo y perfecto para la desconexión y ven ya a disfrutar de este sueño tropical hecho realidad. Debido a que es una playa virgen, no cuenta con infraestructura hotelera pero tendrás la oportunidad de alojarte en las casas de los habitantes de la zona, que a menudo se prestan a alquilar sus propiedades o habitaciones en sus casas; una experiencia típicamente cubana. En los alrededores hay algunos restaurantes típicos, una marisquería y una cafetería, para degustar la deliciosa gastronomía cubana. Nos ubicamos a 50 km de aeropuerto "Frank Pais" de Holguin.
